An Exhibition on Tibetan History and Culture
Overview of the Exhibition:The exhibition of more than 2,600 exhibits covers an area of 6,288 square meters in five divisions---The Prehistoric Age, The Tang and Song Dynasties, The Yuan and Ming Dynasties, The Period of the Qing Dynasty and ROC, and the Party’s Effulgence over the Borderland Where the People Are Committed to the Party. The exhibition systematically elucidates the long history and resplendent civilization in Tibetan region, the exercise of sovereignty over Tibet by successive central governments and the exchanges and cultural mutual learning between ethnic groups in Tibet and other fraternal ethnic groups in China, the great contribution of all ethnic groups in Tibet in promoting the unity of the Chinese nation and the development of the country as well as in the historical process of Chinese civilization, revealing the objective historical facts that Tibet has always been an inalienable part of China and Tibetan culture is an important component part of that of China, presenting Tibet's historic leap and great achievements under the leadership of the CPC.
